Desert Direct Primary Care was created for patients who want more from their primary care clinic.
For those who want a doctor they can get to know and trust, who will take the time to listen to them before making quick assumptions or whipping out a prescription pad.
DR. JACLYN HARRIS, DO
Dr. Jaclyn Harris is an Arizona native who grew up in Glendale and then Surprise, AZ. She now lives in the Northwest valley with her husband, Ryan, 3 children, and 2 dogs. She is a board-certified Internal Medicine Physician and is also certified as a diplomate of the American Board of Obesity Medicine.

Upon graduating from the University of Arizona, Dr. Harris commissioned as an officer in the United States Air Force to fulfill her dream of serving as a military physician. While in the Air Force Reserve, she completed her medical degree at Rocky Vista University College of Osteopathic Medicine in Colorado. She then went on to complete an active-duty physician residency in San Antonio, TX, where she trained at Brooke Army Medical Center and Wilford Hall Ambulatory Surgery Center to specialize in Internal Medicine. She served as an attending Internal Medicine Physician at Eglin Air Force Base for the next 4 years, rotating between the ICU, inpatient medical wards, and her primary care clinic. During this time, she had 2 children and longed for them to grow up near all their family in Arizona. Therefore, she decided to complete her military service and return home.
While back in Arizona, she grew her family further while practicing telemedicine and continuing formal medical education in the fields of Obesity Medicine and Menopausal Women’s Health. She decided the only primary care practice model that would allow her the time to give her patients comprehensive, quality primary care would be in a Direct Primary Care setting.

Dr. Harris and her family enjoy exploring the great outdoors and being involved in their church.
